Note №12
Aesthetic Approach
01 March, 2025
The feeling emerging from the coming time can be perceived as a heightened form of naturalness, marked by abundant roughness, distortion, and subtle tonal variations.
This feeling likely arises because we are gradually approaching the dissolution of the visible boundary between technology and nature. Mind interfaces will also foster deeper self-understanding and, consequently, more natural behavior.
What is natural cannot be smooth or correct. To believe otherwise is an illusion. Simply observe nature and humanity in all their diversity, and it becomes clear that naturalness embraces everything: the correct and the mistaken, the beautiful and the ugly.

Such an aesthetic may provoke fear, as the inertia of clean, precise, mechanically perfect forms remains strong. Here, the emphasis shifts toward unevenness, handcrafted qualities, and forms that approach the edge of what is considered improper.
This marks another point of rupture between past and future.
This approach will enable interfaces not only to convey information about the psyche, but also to create a space where the very process of awareness feels natural.
We will experience this not as external technology, but as something intimately connected to our inner world, where technology and nature merge into harmonious unity.
After all, we ourselves are an embodiment of nature, and its analog continuity, non-discreteness, and sensorial richness are organic to us.
